Hammerhead Holster, Belt and Bullet Pouch
Designed and worn by Eddie Janis as the final word in Single Action Army concealment, comfort, and versatility. This pancake style holster is custom made in the USA of the finest black Shark hide which is virtually indestructible. The inside is lined with a very smooth horsehide so as not to wear the finish off your fine Colt Peacemaker.
The design of the holster allows it to be worn either strong side with a muzzle rearward cant, or by utilizing the lower belt loop on the front of the holster to wear it as a cross draw with a straight-up cant. Either way you wear it you will find that the grip of your pistol will stay tucked nicely against your side and will minimize any printing under a light jacket.
The Hammerhead also makes a fine hunting holster for the Colt when you’re rifle hunting, but want to have the extra security of an easily accessible hand gun worn under your jacket. There are no snaps or tie downs necessary with the Hammerhead as the holster fits the gun snugly, and the front sight and ejector head provide the extra resistance needed to keep it in place.
The Hammerhead Holster is made for the 4 ¾ inch barrel length Peacemakers, but can be utilized for the 5 ½ inch length Peacemaker with the barrel visible out the bottom. It also is made for right handed shooters, but can be special ordered in a left hand model
The Shark hide Belt is 1 ¾ inches wide and has a thick cowhide lining to better stabilize the holster. All materials and stitching are top quality as you have come to expect from Peacemaker Specialists. Even the edges of the belt and holster are perfectly finished and dressed.
The Hammerhead Holster / Belt combo can also be enhanced with our 6 round bullet drop pouch. This ingenious little jewel holds six 45 Colt bullets in concealment until you need them, then with a pop of the snap the pouch falls slightly away from the body exposing the easily grab-able case rims for a quick reload. It is a very discreet way to carry six extra rounds. You will not be disappointed in these items.
